Biography
Borned in Santiago, Chile, in 1990, she began studying violin in 2007. Two years later, she initiated formal studies at the Catholic University of Chile, concluding in 2015. After developing a great interest in historically informed performance, she undertook the study of the baroque violin under the guidance of the Chilean violinist Raúl Orellana, and from then on she has collaborated with the most important Chilean groups dedicated to the interpretation and research of colonial Latin American baroque music and European baroque music, such as Estudio MusicAntigua UC, Ensemble Terra Australis, Les Carillons and Orquesta Barroca NuevoMundo performing in the most prestigious concert halls, festivals, and concert seasons in Chile and other South American countries.
In 2018 she moved to Italy to continue her studies at the Alessandro Scarlatti Conservatory in Palermo with Enrico Onofri and graduated with full marks in 2021 under the guidance of Nicholas Robinson. In 2023 she obtained her Master’s Degree in Baroque Violin with honors at the Gioacchino Rossini Conservatory of Pesaro under the guidance of Enrico Onofri. In addition, she took part in different masterclassses and workshops dedicated to chamber music, historically informed performance, and classical and baroque violin, with renowned musicians, including Ingrid Zur, Manuel de Grange, Brian Lewis, Florian Deuter, Rodolfo Richter, Enrico Gatti and Patrick Ayrton.
Her concert activity has led her to perform in a vast number of festivals and concert seasons in Italy and the rest of Europe including Marchesato Opera Festival, Early Music Festival Rome, Rome Festival Barocco, Handel Festival Gottingen, Festwochen der Alten Music Innsbruck, Concerts d'automne Tours, Urbino Musica Antica, Alessandro Stradella Festival Viterbo, Sagra Musicale Malatestiana Rimini, Bellezza Fuori Porta Coleggium Musicum Classense, collaborating with various orchestral and chamber ensembles such as Alessandro Scarlatti Orchestra of Ancient Instruments, Ensemble La Chimera, Orchestra Barocca Siciliana, I Musici Malatestiani, Ensemble Elyma, Il Pomo d'Oro, Arianna Art Ensemble, Ensemble Mare Nostrum, Concerto Romano, Accademia Bizantina, among others, under the conduction of Gabriel Garrido, Eduardo Eguez, George Petrou, Enrico Onofri, Alessandro Quarta, Andrea de Carlo, Chiara Cattani, Ottavio Dantone.
She has recorded with La Chimera, Concerto Romano, and Accademia Bizantina.
